ENGINEERING SALES MANAGER

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and reaching out to potential clients, presenting our automation solutions, and developing tailored proposals that align with their project needs. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

• Researching and identifying potential Automation customers, and building and maintaining a target list with key sales contact details.
• Initiating contact with prospects through cold calls, emails, and social media, while leveraging networking to turn cold leads into warm introductions.
• Meeting with qualified prospects to present Automation’s capabilities and explore alignment with their current and future control system needs.
• Tracking sales activities, maintaining contact information, and updating the status of opportunities for each target account.
• Preparing sales proposals for control system integration and related services, including drafting proposal documents and developing cost estimates in accordance with standard procedures.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in direct industrial sales of control and automation systems, products, and services.
• Skilled in telemarketing and cold-calling.
• Proficient in developing technical sales proposals.
• Knowledgeable in leveraging social media to promote business.
• Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Strong work ethic with a passion for tackling challenges and pursuing professional growth.
• Entrepreneurial mindset.
• Reliable and accountable, committed to meeting responsibilities and deadlines.
• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Willing and able to travel to industrial customer sites locally and across the U.S. (approximately 20%).
• Coursework in engineering, technical, or scientific disciplines is preferred.

COMPENSATION: 80,000- 120,000 USD
