Position Summary:

The Remote Customer Service Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients calling, emailing, or messaging our practice. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming experience by answering questions, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and directing concerns to the appropriate team members. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment—all from a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and live chat inquiries from new and existing patients.

• Provide information about dental services, office hours, providers, and treatment options.

• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using dental practice management software.

• Verify insurance information and communicate benefits to patients.

• Assist with billing inquiries and direct complex questions to the appropriate department.

• Maintain accurate patient records and document all interactions in the system.

• Ensure all communication is HIPAA-compliant and maintains patient confidentiality.

• Collaborate remotely with front desk, billing, and clinical teams to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.

• Proficient in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) and CRM platforms.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

• Reliable internet connection and a distraction-free remote work environment.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Preferred Skills:

• Bilingual in Spanish or another language is a strong plus.

• Familiarity with dental procedures, terminology, and insurance processing.
