Job Description

Are you a natural storyteller with a talent for building strong media relationships and elevating brand reputation? We’re seeking a Public Relations Manager to craft compelling narratives and secure high-impact media opportunities that amplify our mission.  

In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping our public image, managing media relations, and supporting event efforts that enhance visibility and engagement. This is an opportunity to build and promote a brand with purpose and influence. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute integrated PR strategies aligned with company goals 
  • Manage media relations, respond to media inquiries, and secure press opportunities for the company and key talent 
  • Cultivate strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and strategic partners 
  • Proactively book interviews and maintain a steady calendar of weekly media appearances, ensuring consistent visibility and engagement 
  • Manage PR events from concept to completion, ensuring seamless coordination across all internal and external collaborators—including media contacts, event partners, talent, and team members—by providing the necessary resources, information, and support 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure unified messaging and maintain brand reputation 
  • Craft compelling press releases, talking points, pitches, and other PR materials. 
  • Support trade show and event initiatives, including planning, logistics coordination, and promotional outreach 
  • Monitor media coverage, analyze PR campaign performance, and provide actionable recommendations 
  • Stay current on PR trends, platform updates, and communications best practices. 
  • Develop content for newsletters, one-pagers, website bios, and informational collateral that reflect brand tone and values 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 5 years in a public relations, communications, or marketing role 
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field 
  • Proven experience developing and implementing PR strategies 
  • Skilled in media outreach, press pitching, and relationship-building 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to tailor messaging for different audiences 
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Professional, strategic thinker with excellent time-management and interpersonal skills 
  • Experience working with CRM systems or marketing databases preferred
