Job Description

Position: PR & Communications Lead

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Reports to: CEO

About Nimbus Healthcare

Nimbus Healthcare is on a mission to close the gap between diagnostics and actionable care. In a world where doctors, nurses, and pharmacists are burnt out, people end up chasing solutions on their own—often turning to fly-by-night wellness sites or counterfeit products. We’re different. As the world’s first end-to-end closed-loop health optimization platform , we uniquely blend personalized hormone therapy, performance peptides, and custom-formulated medications with our IntelliHealth™ AI engine and Aura health coach. The result? Real-time treatment adjustments and true clinical guidance instead of just data.

Role Overview

As our in-house PR & Communications Lead, you’ll own Nimbus’s story—from crafting the narrative that highlights our revolutionary closed-loop system to securing top-tier placements in outlets like Forbes, TechCrunch, and MedCity News. You’ll work hand-in-hand with product, clinical, and executive teams, translating complex science into compelling media hits, bylined thought leadership, shareable content—and launching our upcoming podcast in Q3.

Key Responsibilities

  • Narrative & Asset Development
  • Define and refine Nimbus’s core messaging pillars: our clinician-backed solutions approach, closed-loop AI-driven system, and actionable care philosophy
  • Build and maintain press materials—one-pagers, executive bios, data points, media kit
  • Media Relations & Outreach
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with reporters, editors, and influencers covering healthtech, digital health, and pharma
  • Pitch and secure earned-media coverage (news stories, contributed bylines, product reviews) in top-tier and trade publications
  • Thought Leadership & Content
  • Write and shepherd thought pieces, op-eds, case studies, and customer success stories that demonstrate Nimbus’s “solutions-oriented” advantage
  • Coordinate executive interviews, media training, and briefing materials
  • Podcast Development & Management
  • Lead the launch and ongoing production of Nimbus’s podcast (going live in Q3): source guests (industry experts, clinicians, patients), develop episode topics, coordinate recording logistics, and amplify episodes through media and owned channels
  • Integrated Communications Strategy
  • Partner with marketing, product, and growth teams to amplify announcements via owned (blog, social), earned (media), and paid channels
  • Develop a PR calendar aligned with product milestones, pilot results, podcast schedule, and funding updates
  • Measurement & Reporting
  • Track PR and podcast KPIs (media mentions, sentiment, episode downloads, referral traffic) and translate into actionable insights
  • Prepare monthly reports for leadership, highlighting wins, challenges, and next steps

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–5 years of PR or corporate communications experience, ideally in tech or healthcare startups
  • Proven track record placing stories and contributed content in outlets like Forbes, TechCrunch, MedCity News, FierceHealthcare, etc.
  • Exceptional storytelling and writing chops—comfortable translating technical content into clear, engaging narratives
  • Experience in podcast production or guest sourcing for branded series
  • Strong media network and proactive outreach skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Metrics-driven mindset: experience with PR and podcast analytics tools and reporting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
Nice-to-Haves

  • Background in digital health, pharma, or AI-driven healthcare
  • Experience building press and podcast processes from the ground up
  • Familiarity with HARO, Qwoted, and expert-source platforms
  • Crisis communications or analyst relations exposure
Why Nimbus?

  • Revolutionary Impact: Help launch the first fully closed-loop health optimization system and its accompanying podcast.
  • Solutions-Oriented Culture: Join a team obsessed with solving problems—not just pointing them out.
  • Growth & Ownership: Shape our PR and podcast playbooks and scale into a Director role as we expand.
  • Core Values: Optimistic, transparent, future-focused, and deeply empathetic—just like our brand voice.

How to Apply

Please send your resume, a brief cover letter, and two recent PR or podcast clips (if available) to pr@nimbushealthcare.com with the subject line “PR & Communications Lead.” We can’t wait to hear how you’ll help us tell the world about NimCore®’s game-changing impact—and bring our podcast to life.
