DESCRIPTION

Krier & Blain is looking for a responsible, hard-working individual for a Mechanical Engineer - HVAC Position. As a Mechanical Engineer - HVAC you will be responsible for estimating, scheduling, and managing plumbing and mechanical projects. Experience or knowledge of HVAC & Plumbing systems is required. This is a permanent full-time position with benefits. Salary is negotiable depending on experience. A drug and alcohol screening will be conducted prior to employment.

RESPONSIBITIES

• Compile and prepare cost estimates of plumbing, heating & HVAC Systems.
• Schedule, coordinate and manage the daily construction activities for multiple projects.
• Attend meetings, make jobsite visits, and perform site inspections and coordination with other contractors.
• Follow projects from inception to completion to oversee quality, accuracy and cost effectiveness.
• Responsible for project set-up and maintaining a constant workflow throughout the project.
• Effectively communicate with owners and other contractors on jobsites.
• Mechanical experience and/or training that provides the necessary knowledge and construction skills to prepare cost estimates of plumbing, heating & HVAC Systems.
• Reading and understanding plans, specifications and other project documents.
• Detail oriented, good communication skills and computer literate.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of business principles.
• Sales experience is a plus.
• Experience with HVAC/Plumbing design and drafting, REVIT MEP and clash detection is not required but is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• Mechanical Engineering or Project Management: 5 years (Preferred)

Location:

• Sioux Falls, SD (In Person)
• Must be authorized to work in the US
