The Impact You’ll Have:

We are looking for a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to assist in executing marketing strategies and content creation. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in marketing within the engineering and consulting industry. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and passionate about digital marketing, content creation, and supporting a team.

Tasks You’ll Assist With:

  • Organize and maintain digital media assets, including photos, videos, and project information.
  • Help with SEO, slugs, and meta descriptions on the company’s website.
  • Take and edit photos from internal events, to project photography.
  • Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content for Alliant’s social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  • Help write, edit, and proofread marketing materials, including blog posts, newsletters, email campaigns, and brochures.
  • Help manage and update the company website and online portfolio.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of internal and external marketing events and activities.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing department as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Photography skills are a plus
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Lightroom and Photoshop).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) and email marketing platforms is a plus.

The pay rate for this position is expected to be $20-22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
