Responsibilities

Maintain Internal Systems

• Understand existing infrastructure and develop the most effective solutions for business needs in current and future state.
• Maintain Portfolio Management System.
• Strong understanding of functionality relative to business needs.
• Identify and support ongoing enhancements to process and technology.
• Monitor or troubleshoot available integrations.
• Ensure data integrity.
• Post missing transactions.
• Review new accounts across systems.
• Use bulk data uploads.
• Manually code securities, as needed.
• Post valuation updates, as needed.
• Salesforce (CRM) subject matter expert/local administrator.
• Provide business intelligence by creating/maintaining reports, dashboards, and analysis views.
• Understand and provide input related to system integrations and data transformation requirements.
• Plan and execute on projects, manage timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
• Function as a liaison with Corient counterparts, providing thought leadership for operational data efficiencies.

User Support:

• Manage portal access for clients.
• Provide support/training on Portfolio Management Systems and CRM and respond to internal inquiries.
• Serve as a key technology resource to perform functions in a bulk deliverable (renaming files, posting tax documents, etc.)

Reporting and Billing:

• Run quarterly invoicing, billing, and accounts receivable.
• Ensure accounts are billing at appropriate fee rate.
• Generate timely monthly/quarterly financial reports.
• Maintain client performance reports within the Portfolio Management System.
• Generate ad hoc reports to meet internal Compliance requests/audit requirements.
• Audit client invoices based upon data in Portfolio Management System and CRM.

Qualifications & Requirements

• BA/BS degree, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Experience or strong understanding of financial services and/or data analysis.
• Proficient in the following technology: Portfolio Management System (Tamarac or Addepar proficiency preferred), Salesforce (CRM), Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Power BI experience is beneficial, or similar experience with programming or data transformation.
• Ability to work with others and take direction from multiple sources.
• Ability to understand custodian data (Schwab/Fidelity).
• Analytical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
• High standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Awareness of security and compliance protocols and client data security.

Pay Information

This position is exempt and is paid according to the laws of the State of California. The pay range for this position is $69,550-$90,000 USD per year. We are required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.

Physical Requirements

• This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Corient seeks to make reasonable accommodations that enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties when possible.
• This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
• This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.

U.S. Eligibility Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. For U.S. employment opportunities, Corient hires U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Corient will require proof of work authorization.
