Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Treasury Risk and Capital Manager to join our Finance team in Cypress, CA . The Treasury Risk and Capital Manager is a Treasury leadership position within Yamaha Motor Finance Corp. (YMFC), the captive finance arm of Yamaha Motor Co., that will oversee areas related to financial risk, liquidity risk, capital planning, and treasury governance. The incumbent will enhance treasury risk management to effectively mitigate various market risks impacting the business in pricing, profitability, and cash flows. The Global Risk and Capital Manager executes and improves: YMFC’s interest rate risk measurement, management, and monitoring; optimal capital structure planning and execution; liquidity risk management; and governance. The role will enhance the quality and content of management reporting to understand and explain drivers, variances, and trends to enable forward-looking monitoring of treasury risk exposures. The Risk and Capital Manager will also coordinate the Treasury Management Committee (TMC), prioritize agenda topics, conduct meetings, and prepare material to be presented at the TMC; support the preparation of Board and Committee reporting on treasury and risk KPIs. This position also works closely with other global and regional groups, including Treasury Banking, Treasury Capital Markets, FP&A, Corporate Planning and Finance, credit risk, and global risk management. This position reports to the Global YMFC Treasurer.
