Job Description

Our client, an insurance agency in Philadelphia , is seeking a Proposal Specialist to join their team on a Contract-to-Hire basis. The candidate will be responsible for the development, coordination, and response management of RFPs and RFIs within their existing customer market.

About the Job:

• Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, ensuring high-quality and customer-focused responses.
• Analyze RFP/RFI criteria, identify key requirements, and coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) for content development.
• Facilitate strategic planning meetings with Sales teams to define proposal strategy and resolve logistical issues.
• Manage project timelines and resources, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
• Edit and refine proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with corporate objectives.

About You:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of experience managing complex RFPs/RFIs in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication, writing, and project management skills with the ability to influence and build consensus.
• High attention to detail and ability to tailor responses to customer specifications.
• Experience with proposal management software (e.g., Qvidian) is a plus.

This is a collaborative role that requires the ability to craft compelling proposals aligned with corporate strategies.
