Job Description

A new opportunity has become available for a Supply Chain Lead at a growing aerospace company based in Milwaukee, WI.

This role will manage supplier relationships, execute purchase orders, and track project milestones to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and manage strong relationships with suppliers in both direct and indirect procurement areas.
• Identify the best sourcing strategies and execute purchase orders to meet project requirements.
• Track project progress, organize supplier meetings, and expedite processes when needed.
• Ensure suppliers and internal teams are held accountable for meeting project deadlines and deliverables.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement data.
• Analyze demand trends and propose strategic purchasing decisions to optimize costs.
• Lead initiatives for process improvements to enhance efficiency and streamline operations.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree and/or 3-5 years of experience in purchasing technical products.
• Proven experience in negotiating complex issues while maintaining professional relationships.
• A proactive approach to identifying and managing potential risks.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project or SmartSheet, and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of business operations.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Preferred knowledge of the Aviation or Aerospace industry.
