JOB SUMMARY
The Shipping and Receiving Manager is responsible for providing customer service and warehouse support by assisting with pulling customer orders, assisting with inquiries, and the coordinating of unique customer requests and issue resolutions.

4. Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a high-performing Shipping and Receiving department, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture. Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback. Delegate tasks effectively, empower team members, resolve conflicts, and build strong team dynamics. Lead and manage a high-performing Shipping and Receiving department.
· Provide training of standard operating procedures according to work standards to operators.
5. Shipping Materials: Employee shall prepare, inspect and ship orders in accordance to delivery orders and truck pickup information
· Prepare transportation to pick-up deliveries as needed.
· Shipping inspection; All coils should be checked based on the delivery note before shipping.
6. Receiving Materials: Employee shall receive, inspect and sort incoming materials in accordance to the paperwork provided and store materials in their designated location.
· Manage both in and out of all POSCO AAPC carriers including the storage of unused carriers.
7. Inventory Management: Employee shall organize materials neatly in accordance to material categorization in addition to managing material locations through PDA tool and/or inventory management data system.
· Manage Stock Control; the self-assured receipt, storage, retrieval, shipment loading and transferring; documentation recording and data entry into system.
· Finished goods Management; Manage finished goods and their locations with good organization
· Quality Patrol; Participate in routine inspection and report any Nonconformities/Abnormal situations
· Organize/Manage all materials on floor by using the designated area efficient
· Label management of Raw Material and Finished Goods.
· Manage inventory of locations of all inventory utilizing PDA tool.
· Other duties as instructed by Plant Manager/Plant Director.
8. Quality Assistance: Perform visual inspections of coils and finished products, reporting any bad condition on the products or coils to the Operator. Help to maintain quality standards by following the operator's directions.
9. Communication: Effective communication with superiors, colleagues in the same department, and related departments is mandatory. Listens actively to evaluate situations and responds effectively and creatively.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university or 3-5 years directly related work experience in the steel or metals industry.
Experience: 2 years of experience in a heavy manufacturing setting or similar heavy industry.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including e-mail
