Title: Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Location: Greensboro, NC. (Local or Nearby Candidates Only).

Duration: 12 Months.

Position Overview:

We are actively seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team onsite in Greensboro, NC . This role requires a highly experienced professional with hands-on expertise in Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC) environments. You will be responsible for advanced threat detection, incident response, digital forensics, and process improvement initiatives within our cybersecurity framework.

This is a critical onsite role that requires the candidate to be based in Greensboro, NC. Nearby Candidates Only , as physical presence is essential for collaboration, investigation, and system monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead CSOC operations including threat detection, incident response, forensic investigations, and vulnerability analysis.
• Execute incident response playbooks and provide rapid resolution and recovery from security events.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and validate cybersecurity requirements and ensure policy adherence.
• Perform proactive threat hunting, log analysis, and monitoring of endpoint, network, and OT environments.
• Create, refine, and maintain CSOC processes, procedures, and incident workflows.
• Provide detailed threat intelligence reports and recommendations to technical teams and leadership.
• Lead and support vulnerability remediation initiatives and integrate security into infrastructure and operations.
• Apply strong knowledge of user and system authentication/authorization across various environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Cybersecurity Operations , specifically in:
• Threat lifecycle management
• Security incident handling
• Endpoint and network monitoring
• Digital forensics and investigations
• OT security principles
• CSOC Process Management Experience , including:
• Standard operating procedure (SOP) creation and optimization
• CSOC initiative leadership and operational maturity improvement
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical and business stakeholders.
• Expertise in cyber defense policies, vulnerability management , and authentication frameworks.

Preferred Certifications (One or More):

• CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional
• GCIH – GIAC Certified Incident Handler
• GCIA – GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst
• Linux+
• CCNA / CCNP – Cisco Certified Network Associate / Professional

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or threat management.
