Senior Consultant/Consultant – CFO Practice (Private Equity) | Charlotte, NC

My client is scaling fast across the U.S. and has big plans for their Charlotte team. This new role is due to continued success and high demand in their CFO into PE portfolio practice. You'll be working alongside the top biller globally in 2024, offering a rare opportunity to learn from the best while building your own desk in a mature, entrepreneurial environment.

The Consultant will join a leading financial services search firm that sits within a globally backed group. With operations across the UK, Europe, and the U.S., this is a business that blends boutique agility with corporate infrastructure. Their work is contigent, exclusive and retained, with placement fees ranging from $60k to $200k+. With a strong track record of scaling teams and achieving private equity-backed growth, they offer a unique environment for recruiters ready to level up.

The Consultant will...

• Partner with Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies to place CFO and senior finance talent
• Work alongside the global top biller to grow the CFO practice in Charlotte
• Focus on exclusive and retained mandates across high-growth sectors
• Contribute to the buildout of a high-performing office as part of U.S. expansion

The role requires...

• 1–4 years of recruitment experience (ideally in finance, executive search, or PE/VC-related markets)
• Proven success in candidate sourcing, client development, and full-cycle 360 recruitment
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders
• A self-starter mindset with a passion for private capital and high-growth markets
• A collaborative approach with a desire to grow in a fast-paced, high-performing team
