Job Title: School Psychologist (Contract – Full Time)

Location: Charlotte, NC

Schedule: Full-Time | 2025–2026 School Year

Contract Type: 10-Month Contract (August 2025 – June 2026)

Hourly Pay Rate: $57/hour

Job Description:

We are seeking qualified and experienced School Psychologists to join the Testing/Evaluation Team in a school-based setting in Charlotte, North Carolina , for the 2025–2026 school year . These are full-time, W-2 contract positions offering a competitive hourly rate of $57/hour .

As a member of the school’s evaluation team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychological assessments, supporting eligibility determination, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote academic and social-emotional success for students in a K–12 environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services
Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments
Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to eligibility discussions
Support the development and implementation of IEPs
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
Provide consultation to school staff on student learning, behavior, and mental health

Qualifications (Required):

Valid North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) License in School Psychology
Certified by the North Carolina Psychology Board (supervision cannot be provided)
Master’s degree (or higher) in School Psychology
Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
Strong understanding of assessment tools, special education law, and MTSS/RTI frameworks
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
