Job Description

Role Overview:

Lincoln Financial Group is seeking an experienced Salesforce Product Owner to join their Customer Experience Center of Excellence. This role will work closely with the Salesforce Product Manager, Agile teams, and key stakeholders to define, document, and execute on product roadmaps, user stories, and epics. The ideal candidate will have strong Salesforce expertise, product ownership experience, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business objectives into actionable user stories, epics, and backlog items.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and Agile teams to prioritize and deliver Salesforce enhancements.
  • Partner with other Salesforce Product Owners to ensure alignment across the product roadmap.
  • Evaluate business processes and propose Salesforce-based solutions to address gaps.
  • Participate in technical discussions regarding product features and integrations.
  • Define clear requirements and serve as the subject matter expert during development.
  • Use data to track adoption and measure success metrics (ROI, KPIs).
  • Support continuous process improvements and innovation initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of equivalent work experience.
  • 3 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, or Product Ownership within development teams.
  • Proven experience working with Salesforce CRM configuration, optimization, or administration.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies (SAFe experience preferred).
  • Experience working in financial services is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (highly preferred).
  • Strong communication skills-verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience coordinating regional domestic travel (up to 50% travel required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and decision-making abilities.

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and under pressure.
  • Able to maintain attention to detail while managing multiple projects.

Work Conditions:

  • Remote position, with potential for up to 50% domestic travel.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to work over 40 hours per week as needed.
