Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and resourceful Sales Development Representative to generate leads for our dynamic sales team. After learning about our award-winning solutions and gaining a comfort level, you will engage prospective customers to succinctly explain the benefits they deliver and pain points they solve, to drive interest. The ideal candidate will take pride in achievement via persistence, enjoy figuring out prospective customer organization hierarchy, and revel in helping our Enterprise Sales Executives close new business.

As a Sales Development Representative you will be responsible for qualifying enterprise sales leads across several industries. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of exceeding sales quota, building and growing a pipeline of business and loves the “thrill of the hunt.” Sales Development Reps are at the frontline of our sales process and spend their days prospecting and performing outbound sales activities. Performance will primarily be measured by seamless handoffs of qualified leads, pipeline generation, and nurturing prospects to advance them from unknown status to appointments.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Identifying top prospective customers and building prospect lists.
  • Executing outbound lead generation activities.
  • Articulating how GoFormz solves the unique problems that resonate with each different buyer type.
  • Scheduling high quality meetings with prospective customers for the sales team.
  • Consistently meeting monthly meeting targets and activity levels.
  • Updating and managing all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to consistently complete a large volume of outbound emails and calls.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software and tools and adapt to new workflows and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Good at storytelling, capturing interest, and engaging customers and prospective customers in a compelling way.
  • Fast learner with a demonstrated aptitude to learn new skills and topics related to client collaboration technology.
  • Strong time management and organization skills.
  • Team player with good collaboration and listening skills.
  • Driven and passionate about achieving goals and moving the needle.
  • Knowledge of the construction, manufacturing, or energy space is a plus.
  • Salesforce CRM experience is a plus but not required.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
  • 1-3+ years in outbound-focused sales or other customer-oriented roles.

Location and Commitment:

  • San Diego based preferred
  • Permanent full-time position

The Benefits:

  • OTE $90,000 - $110,000 annually DOE
  • Medical and Dental paid by the company; you just cover vision.
  • 4 weeks (160 hours) accrued paid vacation in your first year.
