Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our procurement team as an Entry-Level Purchasing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our procurement operations by coordinating the purchase of materials, goods, and services necessary for our manufacturing processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within our company and gain valuable experience in procurement and supply chain management.

• Assist in the procurement of raw materials, components, and supplies based on production schedules and inventory needs.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and lead times.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with production and inventory control teams to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and invoicing.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement function.
• Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and availability of materials and supplies.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with ERP systems preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Prior experience or internships in purchasing, supply chain, or procurement is a plus.

Pay Range

$26 - $32/hour (+ profit sharing)

The actual base salary offered will vary based on factors such as relevant skills, prior experience, education, the base salary of internal peers, and performance demonstrated.
