Job Description

Job Title: Program Manager

Department: IPT (Program Management)

Location: Open (near major International airport)

Reports to: IPT Director

A VERIFY Program Manager is responsible for performing an array of activities such as :

  • Supporting Customer Requests & Requirements
  • Generation and presentation of periodic program review materials
  • Customer-facing point of contact for tactical execution of the program
  • Customer requirement (CR) fulfillment and management,
  • Continuous customer and Field Resource communication and support
  • Proposal generation and submission
  • Contract review support
  • Responsible to maintain compliance of each program to internal and contract requirements and processes
  • Account retention and development including conducting research, as well as identification and cultivation of business and customer development opportunities.
  • Field Resource engagement (compliance, pay concerns, onboarding/offboarding, general support)
  • Recruiting, identification and redeployment of qualified Field Resources

Required Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving skills developing preventive/corrective actions
  • Ability to grasp multiple systems, applications and processes to support responsibilities
  • Supports business development efforts
  • Contract review experience
  • Multi-functional technical management of a program (e.g. Recruitment, Accounting, Field Coordination, etc.)
  • Ability to travel to support customer/resource/team meetings, typically less than 30%
  • Knowledge of, or experience with federal regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership, supervisory and personnel management skills are key attributes for successful performance in this role.
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of the aerospace and defense industry
  • Experience with work from home environment with distraction-free location

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or engineering
  • Minimum 4-6 years experience in program leadership within the aerospace and defense industry
  • Strong telephone, video conference and IT skills
  • Articulate verbal and written communication
  • Working knowledge of Windows-based software including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Effective multi-tasking and time management
  • Dynamic, enthusiastic individual with good interpersonal, team-building, and leadership skills
  • Willingness to drive continuous improvement
