Valley Mountain Staffing is partnering with a rapidly expanding manufacturing leader to fill a crucial direct hire position in their brand-new, state-of-the-art Lincoln facility. We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Powder Coat Leader to build and drive the success of this vital department.

This is an exceptional opportunity to be a key player in establishing and optimizing a cutting-edge powder coating operation. As the Powder Coat Leader, you'll be the site subject matter expert in powder coating.

Responsibilities:

• Department Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing powder coat team.
• Performance Excellence: Drive and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) focused on safety, quality, on-time delivery, and productivity.
• Process Optimization: Develop and implement efficient work processes and procedures to maximize output and minimize costs.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to stringent quality standards and implement robust quality control measures.
• Safety Champion: Foster a culture of safety through proactive inspections, safety meetings, and adherence to best practices.
• Problem Solving: Utilize root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges.
• Communication & Collaboration: Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Equipment & Resource Management: Oversee the operation and maintenance of powder coating equipment and manage resource allocation.

Qualifications:

• Proven Expertise: 3+ years of comprehensive experience in all facets of the powder coating process.
• Leadership Acumen: Demonstrated supervisory experience with a track record of motivating and developing teams.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and schedules with precision.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Hands-on experience operating machinery, hand tools, and material handling equipment.
• Problem-Solving Prowess: Ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
