The Payroll Administrator II is responsible for processing weekly and Semi-monthly payroll, ensuring the accurate, timely, and value-added delivery of responsibilities across payroll and HR transactional activities using Oracle Fusion. Needs to be highly analytical, a deadline-driven payroll professional who completes accounting, payroll, and tax activities with accuracy and speed. Motivated individual with a strong work ethic and sense of ownership needed to excel in fast-paced environments.
This position will serve our Enterprise Division, located in Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) .
Responsibilities
- Strong working knowledge of all basic HR processes, payroll, and benefits. Experience in both the development and execution of these processes across a large population of employees using HCM Oracle.
- Maintaining and processing of employee payroll & records to ensure timeliness and accuracy of information, including auditing of employee pay data.
- Preparation and distribution of Rheem’s weekly and semi-monthly payroll files into Oracle Fusion, including processing off-cycle checks, termination checks, and bonus checks, and absence management, including LOA.
- Processing garnishment withholding orders to ensure compliance, which includes following jurisdictional requirements and our standard process to set up payroll deductions, as well as providing written responses as required to agencies and courts.
- Maintaining and validating data integrity, assisting AP in sorting invoices, verifying accuracy, and forwarding them to appropriate departments for approval.
- Preparation of custom and delivered reports and analysis for management/other departments, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end for gross payroll, tax, and benefits.
- Ensures that a high level of quality customer service is provided in responding to inquiries, and in analyzing and resolving Rheem Enterprise-wide payroll issues and general inquiries.
- Review of payroll tax compliance, payroll account reconciliation, payroll audits, and partnership with Finance on general ledger reconciliation and issue resolution.
- Balancing of taxable wages to tax liabilities to ensure data integrity.
- Processing of the different Payroll Periodic and/or Annual events like Quarterly Software Updates, Year End processing, Merit and MIP processing, which includes monitoring of the loads, auditing of the data and reconciliation.
Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma or GED; Technical/Business education or certification in addition to prior work experience
- 2+ years of experience in Operational Payroll support and processing, CPP strongly preferred.
- Experience in HR Shared Services, HR business process improvement and redesign and operational management
- Experience with HCM Oracle Fusion and Kronos timekeeping experience
- Great presentation and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
- Strong working knowledge of all basic HR processes payroll, and benefits.
- Experience in both development and execution of these processes across a large population of employees
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and communicate clearly and concisely in a professional manner with both internal and external customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to compose responses to team members and internal customers in a clear and concise manner
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, auditors, and division accounting groups
- Detail oriented and teamwork mentality
- Strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or vocational
