We’re hiring a Materials Manager to lead the procurement, inventory, and logistics systems that keep our repair station running smoothly. This position plays a key role in supporting takt-driven flow and regulatory compliance, with direct supervisory responsibility for the Repair Facilitator and the Shipping & Receiving Specialist.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage all procurement, vendor relationships, and subcontractor coordination
  • Maintain Kanban/JIT inventory systems that support lean and compliant repair flow
  • Lead and supervise all shipping and receiving operations, ensuring full regulatory alignment
  • Maintain and enforce part traceability, certification records, and documentation integrity
  • Use FedEx, UPS, and DHL to manage domestic and international shipments — full proficiency required
  • Directly supervise, train, and develop the Repair Facilitator and the Shipping & Receiving Specialist
  • Collaborate across departments to resolve material constraints and support continuous flow
  • Drive improvements in ERP usage, inventory accuracy, and Lean material handling

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years in materials management with responsibility for procurement, inventory, and logistics
  • 2+ years of direct experience in an FAA Part 145 repair station or aviation MRO
  • Full working knowledge of FAA/EASA documentation, shipping, and traceability regulations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Chat)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in FedEx, UPS, and DHL systems for global shipment processing
  • Strong supervisory, coordination, and analytical capabilities
