Marketing Manager – West Coast

Location: Los Angeles preferred; open to candidates in the greater Scottsdale area

Salary: $75,000–$95,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Wish You Were Here Group (WYWHG), the team behind vibrant, high-performing hospitality concepts across the U.S., is seeking a strategic and creative Marketing Manager to oversee marketing efforts across our West Coast portfolio—including Los Angeles, Scottsdale, and Las Vegas.

This is a high-impact role for a hands-on marketer who thrives in fast-paced, multi-unit environments and is ready to lead localized campaigns that drive brand awareness, guest engagement, and traffic to some of the most exciting restaurants in the country.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Local Marketing Strategy : Develop and execute market-specific campaigns that align with overall brand objectives while resonating with local audiences.
  • Drive Campaign Execution : Manage the end-to-end marketing campaign process—from briefing to launch—including channel planning, timelines, and creative development.
  • Own Creative Asset Production : Work with designers to develop menus, signage, collateral, and digital assets; manage revisions and final approvals.
  • Manage Regional PR, Media & Influencer Relations : Serve as the day-to-day contact for press, influencers, and local media partners. Track reservations, visits, and activations.
  • Activate Digital Marketing : Launch paid campaigns across SEM, social, email, and more. Analyze results and optimize performance.
  • Support Openings & Events : Take the lead on event production for new venue openings, seasonal campaigns (e.g. Halloween, NYE), and off-site brand activations.
  • Oversee Photo/Video Shoots : Plan and execute shoots from concept to post-production, including shot lists, mood boards, and editing coordination.
  • Maintain Digital Consistency : Keep third-party platforms like Google Business, OpenTable, Yelp, and UberEats up-to-date with current menus, hours, and images.
  • Collaborate Across Teams : Partner closely with operations, culinary, beverage, and corporate leadership to ensure integrated and effective campaigns.
  • Ensure Brand Alignment : Maintain brand integrity across all materials, venues, and platforms.
  • Lead Local Social Content Execution : Partner with the Social Media Manager to manage regional content and digital ad placements.
  • Email & Website Oversight : Deploy email campaigns, maintain subscriber databases, and manage web content updates across all West Coast properties.

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally in hospitality, restaurants, or multi-unit retail
  • Proven success executing local or regional campaigns across multiple channels
  • Expert multitasker with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Skilled in digital marketing, social media strategy, influencer marketing, and events
  • Proficient with platforms like Google Analytics, email marketing tools, and CRM systems
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong creative instincts
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a fast-moving team
  • Willingness to travel regularly between West Coast markets
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
