What’s the position?

The Compliance Monitoring Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s Assurance Monitoring Program, which provides ongoing oversight of day-to-day business operations, including functional compliance reviews of the platform, transactional behavior, and employee actions. This role ensures that monitoring activities are designed and executed to proactively detect potential non-compliance, control weaknesses, or operational inconsistencies in patron transactions. The Manager leads a team of analysts and plays a critical role in maintaining monitoring standards, analyzing trends, and supporting business partners in remediating identified issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of the assurance monitoring framework, with particular focus on transactional monitoring.
  • Supervise a team responsible for reviewing business transactions, data changes, and other operational activities for compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure monitoring protocols assess operational behavior and transactional activity against applicable internal policies/procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Confirm the quality, consistency, and timeliness of monitoring reviews and reports.
  • Identify trends, patterns, or control gaps and escalate significant risks to senior compliance leadership.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to address monitoring findings and drive corrective actions.
  • Prepare and distribute reports summarizing key observations, risk themes, and monitoring performance metrics.
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory developments and emerging risks that could impact the monitoring program.

What are we looking for?

  • 4+ years in compliance, audit, or risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to industry (iGaming/Sports Wagering).
  • Experience conducting monitoring reviews or audits.
  • Excellent analytical and report writing skills.
  • Leadership experience or potential.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; certifications such as CAMS, CRCM, CIA, or similar are a plus.
