Akkodis is seeking a Jr. QA Software Tester - Embedded for a 24-month plus contract position with a client located in Louisville, Kentucky. This is a long term W2 contract position that is renewed annually, and this is an onsite position.
Pay Range: $26.00/hour to $32.00/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Jr. QA Software Tester - Embedded job responsibilities include:
• Test software code on platforms such as Python and Java.
• Document defects in defect reporting system.
• Using smart phone to set appliance functions
Qualifications:
• A.S. Degree in a related field, such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Code Louisville certification.
• 0-2 years of Software Development and/or testing or equivalent education
• Experience with GitHub: active and quality code.
• Experience with App development software
• WiFi SW - Python, Java, JavaScript, Cucumber…
• Embedded - C, C++, C#
• Experience with black box testing.
• Able to write code (Python, Java, and GitHub)
• A “can do” attitude with a willingness to learn.
