Position: Head of IT Operations

Position Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Head of IT Operations to oversee and drive excellence across our IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our SaaS platform. This role is responsible for managing live production environments while leading teams across DevOps, SRE, Cloud Engineering, Security, and Infrastructure Management.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Operations Management

• Lead and manage teams responsible for IT operations, including:
• DevOps Engineers : Oversee deployment pipelines, automation, and real-time system monitoring
• Site Reliability Engineers (SREs): Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance
• Production Engineer s: Optimize and troubleshoot live production environments
• System Administrators : Maintain and secure live infrastructure
• Cloud Engineers : Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for scalability and security
• Release/Deployment Managers : Oversee software release processes to minimize downtime
• Inbound/Outbound Data Feeds Management : Oversee infrastructure handling data flow
• Security Engineers : Ensure security, monitor vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute IT operations strategy aligned with business goals
• Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
• Drive operational efficiency while maintaining high system performance and security

IT Infrastructure & Security

• Ensure robust cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
• Maintain strong compliance, security, and IT service management (ITSM) protocols
• Implement and oversee monitoring tools, observability, and incident response management

Position Requirements:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 20+ years of IT operations experience, with 10+ years in leadership roles within a SaaS environment
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps methodologies
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, compliance, and ITSM
• Experience with monitoring tools, observability, and incident management
• Proven ability to manage budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of SaaS multi-tenancy architectures and optimization
• Relevant certifications: Azure Certified Solutions Architect, ITIL, CISSP, or equivalent
