FP&A Analyst – Manufacturing

Location: Onsite | Near Syracuse NY

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive FP&A Analyst to join our finance team at our manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role focused on financial planning, analysis, and collaboration across departments to support better business decisions. What You’ll Do:

• Participate in month-end close activities , including assisting with and posting journal entries
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes , collaborating closely with various departments
• Review and analyze financial reports—identify trends, flag anomalies, and bring insights to leadership
• Offer ideas for operational and financial improvement based on data-driven observations
• Provide clear, concise answers to questions like, “What are we seeing here?” or “Why did this change?”
• Help leadership understand where opportunities lie for cost control, margin improvements, and efficiency gains

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required; food manufacturing is a plus but not required
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central is highly beneficial
• A degree is helpful but not required —what matters most is your experience and analytical mindset
• Familiarity with financial reporting, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration
• Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and a drive to ask questions and find meaningful answers
