Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled ETL Developer to join their dynamic team. This role involves developing and managing an Asset Management Tracking, Tracing, and Inventory Management System for a high-profile client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing software solutions, integrating data systems, and ensuring the accuracy and functionality of asset management dashboards. This position is based in Merrifield, VA, and requires a candidate who can obtain a Public Trust clearance. U.S. Citizenship or a Green Card is necessary. The role demands a professional with the ability to handle multiple tasks ranging from data integration to dashboard development under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and customize asset management modules using recommended software such as ServiceNow.
- Manage CMDB (Configuration Management Database) for asset tracking and perform integration with external databases.
- Develop dynamic dashboards with data visualization features including heat maps, and integrate real-time data from various sources.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems through proficient data cleaning, transformation, and consolidation practices.
- Design and execute ETL processes to connect and synchronize data between multiple systems effectively.
- Develop and standardize forms and processes to ensure compliance with organizational policies and enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide technical training and support to staff, ensuring smooth adoption and functionality of new systems.
- Maintain and optimize asset management systems, conducting regular audits and updates to improve system performance.
Qualifications: - Proven experience in software development and configuration, specifically with asset management software like ServiceNow.
- Strong knowledge of database systems including SQL and non-SQL databases, and experience with database integration tools.
- Expertise in ETL tools and processes, with a focus on real-time data synchronization.
- Experience in building and maintaining custom dashboards and reporting tools.
- Ability to design and implement automated workflows and data integration solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and training skills, capable of effectively transferring knowledge to team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance; U.S. Citizenship or Green Card is required.
- A degree from an accredited college/university in a related field is preferred; additional experience may substitute for education.
- Availability to work onsite in Merrifield, VA, with potential ad-hoc responsibilities as directed by management.
