Job Opportunity: Journeyman Electrician (Industrial/Commercial)

Location: Red Oak, TX 75154

Pay Rate: $35/hour (W2, no benefits)

Duration: 3-month contract with possible extension

Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to join a manufacturing team specializing in prefab modular data centers. This role involves electrical installations, integration, and assisting with start-up and commissioning processes within a factory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical installations as part of prefab modular assembly.
• Support integration and start-up of modular data centers.
• Conduct repairs, maintenance, and QA inspections on industrial equipment.
• Interpret schematics and technical documents.
• Follow safety procedures and comply with all electrical codes and standards.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, including adherence to 5S, torque sheet protocols, and tool tracking.
• Work individually and within a team to complete project tasks.

Working Conditions:

• Factory environment – must follow all safety protocols.
• Physical requirements include: lifting up to 50 lbs, working on ladders, and standing/kneeling for extended periods.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree, trade school certification, or completed apprenticeship program preferred.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Industrial or commercial electrical experience required (residential experience not applicable).
• Ability to read schematics and bend conduit; experience with large cable installation.
• Manufacturing experience is a major plus.
• Familiarity with 5S methodology is highly desirable.
