Are you a strategic quality leader ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment?

We are seeking a Director of Quality to lead and elevate our Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001 standards. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving performance, regulatory compliance, and a culture of continuous improvement across departments. You will be the point person for audits, customer engagement, and cross-functional quality initiatives at a leading manufacturer of custom-built industrial solutions.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage the site’s QMS, ensuring ISO 9001 compliance.
• Spearhead certification and auditing efforts for ISO and other standards.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing Quality team.
• Interface with internal teams, customers, and suppliers on quality matters.
• Conduct root cause analysis, drive corrective actions, and reduce cost of poor quality.
• Develop and monitor quality metrics, and present improvement plans to leadership.
• Promote Lean, 5S, and other CI initiatives across operations.
• Manage supplier audits, quality documentation, and the Approved Suppliers List.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field. (Ideally Electrical)
• 5+ years in a QA/QC leadership role in manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and QMS best practices.
• Experience managing audits and compliance initiatives.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and inspection/calibration tools.
• Ability to manage physical requirements of a manufacturing setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Quality or Engineering.
• 8+ years in quality-focused roles, including 4+ years of audit experience.
• ISO Lead Auditor certification.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI tools.
• Proven success with supplier quality programs and customer audits.
