Akkodis is seeking a Data warehouse Developer for a Data Engineer with a client in Richmond VA . Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry .

Rate Range: $65/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in developing data applications and pipelines utilizing Python and SQL
2+ years of experience with a public cloud (AWS preferred)
3+ years experience with Distributed data/computing tools (MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark or MySQL)
2+ years of data warehousing experience (RDS Services or Snowflake)
3+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting
2+ years of experience with Agile engineering practices
Experience working on and resolving Capital One Enterprise Tech Backlog (ETB) items and vulnerability management
Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like Peoplesoft and Workday and financial ledger data
Experience working with Capital One Bank Tech and/or Commercial Bank groups
Experience building, testing and deploying data metrics
Experience creating complex SQL queries and interpreting existing complex SQL queries to understand data sourcing, flows and lineage
