Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the successful and timely transport, loading and unloading of equipment and material to and from designated job sites.
• Responsible for ensuring the equipment is secure and located in secure and authorized locations.
• Safely drive a tandem trailer, dump truck, flatbed truck, cement truck or other vehicle/combination.
• Assist job site crews on job sites daily.
• Communicate regularly with Field Supervisors and crews about timing and deliver of materials and equipment and assistance needed on site.
• Make safety a top priority, obeying all DOT, OSHA laws at all times.
• Complete daily driver logs and safety paperwork and hand in to appropriate person when expected.
• Responsible for the safe handling of equipment, report all mechanical issues with equipment immediately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• 1 year CDL driving experience desired
• Must possess and maintain a current Class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
• Must maintain a current DOT (Department of Transportation) physical
• Must be able to clear and maintain a clear drug screen
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given
