Job Description

About the Firm

We are a boutique real estate and business litigation firm specializing in partition law, and are looking for an Associate Attorney with 7 or more years of litigation experience to join our rapidly growing firm. If you understand civil litigation in California, we can teach you partition law. We've created a streamlined approach to our practice area which involves mostly low-conflict real estate issues. Our firm has been recognized as the experts in the field in Newsweek, the LA Business Journal, and as a nominee for the prestigious Vanguard Award from Law.com.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting pleadings, discovery, and legal correspondence;
  • Appearing for court and depositions;
  • Developing litigation strategies to help clients achieve their goals;
  • Reviewing and investigating legal claims;
  • Negotiating settlements with opposing counsel and clients;
  • Reporting to firm management.

Qualifications:

  • California Bar License
  • Strong interest in the firm's practice areas (Real Estate/Business/Civil Litigation)
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Commitment to ethical practice
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team
  • Values high quality work and intellectual curiosity

Compensation: $150,000 to $200,000 depending on skills and experience.

Location:
