Gopher Medical is hiring! We are looking for a Sales Representative with experience in sales to join our growing sales team.
Summary/Objective:
This position is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating sales within a specified territory. The position develops, maintains, and interacts with a broad scope of customers, predominantly through phone and electronic communication. The role works collaboratively with all levels of the company. Our successful sales representatives are self-starters with a strong work ethic. We believe in an uncapped commission structure that is set up to reward the high achievers.
Essential functions:
· Maintain and increase sales within assigned accounts and territory to meet assigned quota and sales objectives.
· Forge new relationships with customers within assigned territory, create new business opportunities, actively seeking feedback to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
· Seek to understand customer goals, priorities and challenges; providing messaging and solutions tailored to customers’ needs.
· Cold-call prospects to identify appropriate contacts, identify new business and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
· Contact new and existing customers through, but not limited to, phone calls, email, mailings, trade shows, and customer visits to communicate company’s products and services offered.
· Keep informed of new products and services, while collaborating with the Biomed Department to expand technical understanding; develop a thorough knowledge of company’s products and services to better meet customer needs.
· Effectively use CRM, AIMS and MS Office to maintain customer records and enhance performance.
· Attend company’s registered trade shows.
· Collaborate with other departments to facilitate new company campaigns, programs, and offerings to customers.
· Keep management informed of weekly business activity, as well as completing administrative and internal service records.
· Present quarterly business reviews/updates to report on sales objectives and quotas with sales team and management.
· Apply high ethical standards in day-to-day work and comply with company policies and safe practices.

Benefits:
Compensation Plan:
$45,000 - $50,000 plus commission, with no cap on commission earnings.
The salary range listed is an estimate. Pay at Gopher Medical is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s relevant education, experience and skills.
Education, Experience and Training:
1. Bachelor’s degree preferred
2. 2-5 years in a successful inside sales role preferred
3. Medical equipment industry experience preferred
4. Driver’s license required
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment.
Physical Demands:
The employee will need the ability to go and up down stairs, lift medical equipment and gather orders together for customers.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8am – 4:30pm
Travel:
This position will require travel to trade shows and customer sites. Local, out of state and overnight travel should be expected, occasionally.
