Marketing Event Coordinator

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a marketing event coordinator with 2 or more years of experience for a contract opportunity for a manufacturing organization in Durham, NC. This fully onsite. This is a great contract role that offers the opportunity to work with a results-oriented and dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and organize events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives.
• Coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodations.
• Manage day-to-day social media presence, posting to social media accounts across platforms.
• Write copy for daily social media posts.
• Develop and implement] social media strategy and content calendar.
• Handle any issues that arise and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to determine areas of improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat Suite.
• Capable of multitasking and completing tasks promptly without compromising accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

• 2 to 4 years of experience.

Employment Type: 3-6 month Contract

Compensation: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
