Industrial Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician on behalf of our client. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets in a pork processing environment while ensuring a safe workplace and compliance with company policies and procedures. Hourly range $22-25 with $5,000 sign-on bonus!
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair facility and equipment issues in daily operations.
• Perform maintenance on hydraulics, electrical systems, plumbing, conveyors, and pneumatic systems.
• Set up, adjust, and dismantle production machinery as needed.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and instructions.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
• Work in wet and humid conditions, with temperatures ranging from 35°F to 90°F+.
• Climb ladders and work from elevated platforms safely.
• Stand and walk for extended periods on hard floors.
• Occasionally lift up to 60 lbs as part of daily tasks.
• Available to work all shifts, including Sundays and scheduled overtime.
Requirements:
• Minimum 6 months of experience and/or training in at least one of the following areas:
o Mechanical troubleshooting
o Electrical/electronic troubleshooting
o Hydraulic troubleshooting
o PLC troubleshooting and navigation
• Additional experience in the following areas is a plus:
o Welding/fabrication
o AC/DC control wiring
o Motor control and 3-phase wiring
o Conveyor maintenance
o Pneumatic systems and plumbing
