SAIC seeks a highly experienced  Configuration Analyst Senior Principle for the Enhanced Polar System (EPS) Gateway (GW) Segment System contract.

EPS supports the Army, Navy and Air Force to provide satellite communications (SATCOM) to the Continental United States. In support of the government customer, the SAIC Program Manager (PM), and the Chief Engineer (CE) is seeking a Configuration Analyst Sr. Principle to lead the knowledge transfer of critical Configuration & Data Management (CM/DM) documentation.

This role is ONSITE in San Diego, CA and must be local to area.

JOB DUTIES:

• The Configuration Analyst Senior Principal role involves providing direct training to current CM/DM support staff to ensure critical knowledge transfer is completed. 
• Review, of all current deliverables to ensure accuracy and develop and update current Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure knowledge transfers are captured.
• Work with the team to enhance CM/DM process develop efficiencies and support Configuration Management (CM) activities when required.
• Reviews all deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree and fourteen (14) years or more experience; master’s degree and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD and nine (9) years  or more related experience in configuration management specifically for SATCOM or other national security space mission systems. 
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have an Active Secret Clearance.
• Understanding of configuration and data administration and associated management functions and experience with data or intellectual property rights for technical data, data delivery, storage, management, and the use of data.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Highly organized and knowledgeable on document creation, technical edits, formatting, and grammar checking.
• Must be a team player.
• Experienced with SOP's.

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
